| 2009 Kia Sorrento boasts an impressive list of standard features like a powerful V6 engine, air conditioning, ample storage and seating space, power everything, side-curtain airbags and an 8-speaker CD stereo system. 2009 Kia Sorrento has a long list of standard equipment, including cruise control, electric/folding mirrors, electric windows, remote central locking with a 'quick flip' button for the rear hatch window, roof luggage racks, fog lights and alloy wheels. Leather upholstery is among the few options available. A brief drive on and off road shows that the Sorrento is clearly the top SUV coming out of the Korean industry, and is probably one of the better separate chassis SUVs on the road. Off road traction is provided by the ATT (active torque transfer) full-time, four-wheel-drive system, designed by Borg Warner. The ATT system mostly provides drive to the rear wheels in normal conditions, but if it senses slippage it can divert up to 50% drive instantaneously to the front wheels to enhance traction.
