Fiat to Make Come Back to US

It has been twenty-seven years since the brand Fiat sold a car in the United States. However, that is all about to change. Years ago the reputation of Fiat was an unflattering one, saying the least. The company left the United States leaving behind the reputation as being a producer of small cars that were prone to rust.

Since the company has now partnered up with Chrysler, they are staging their return to the United States in a few weeks. They plan to introduce the Fiat 500, which is considered one of the smallest cars on the roads. However, the 500 is also full of style and is said to be extremely comfortable, despite its small size. This is going to be the first of many vehicles that Fiat plans to introduce to the US market in the upcoming years.

However, Fiat is going to have its work cut out for them. First, they are going to have to see if US consumers have forgotten the past history of Fiat throughout the years. Secondly, the company is going to have to make sure that the prove the car to be worthwhile for the money that consumers will pay for it.

The US market does seem to be switching towards the use of small cars more and more, which means Fiat is probably not going to have such a difficult time of getting the car sold to those that are interested in the United States. The safety of the car is something else that should attract a lot of attention from US consumers, as it has been put through rigorous testing in order to survive a crash should it be involved in one.

The big question is not the details of the car, but whether Americans will be receptive towards the Fiat brand once again? Time may dull the memories of things in the past, however, it doesn't fully erase them as much as Fiat is hoping that time has erased the memory of their ill performing past.
