2011 Chrysler 300 SRT8

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 is designed to be the luxury and performance car of the 300 series. It builds upon the 300 in ways that most people did not expect when it first came out in 2004. Ever since then the car has been one that performance drivers want to own, and the new 2011 Chrysler 300 SRT8 holds just as much promise. Acceleration wise the average statistics are giving the time of five seconds to reach sixty miles per hour from a stand still. However, no one has yet to get the option of test driving this vehicle for research purpose.

The power that is in the 2011 Chrysler 300 SRT8 comes from the powerful engine that is supposedly bringing in around 460 horsepower or a little over that. The engine is a 6.1 liter, Hemi V8 engine that gives all the power that everyone wants when they are looking at a street racing technology car like the 300.

Gas mileage wise the 300 SRT8 gets around thirteen miles per gallon in the city, while getting nineteen miles per gallon on the highway. This is not the greatest numbers ever, however, considering that the car is so jam packed full of power, this is to be expected. Transmission wise the car is offering a five speed manual transmission, as well as the option of the auto stick automatic transmission.

There are quite a few extras that are standard in the SRT8 that speak to its luxury side, such as heated front seats, adjustable lumbar support for the driver and passenger, rain sensitive windshield wipers, 20 inch alloy wheels, and much more.

Overall, for those that are looking for speed while also wanting to maintain a dignified and luxurious feeling car, then the 300 SRT8 is the car to choose.
