Easy enter and exit — just the right height off the ground. Got 31,000 on it, and absolutely no problems.4.3 V6 has very good power though a bit noisy and the auto trans shifts very nicely – could never live with the 4cyl version. Very good ride for a compact pickup and the handling is very good for this type of vehicle. Optional bucket seats are a vast improvement over the S10’s standard interior

    who ever wrote this needs to double check their dates, because they quit making the s10 in 2003 and they don’t make them anymore they were replaced by the colorado, and the canyon on the GMC side…

    The author was ill informed on the topic but gm did continue the s10 till 2011 in Brazil until it adopted the Colorado name
