2011 Mercedes Benz E Class

2011 Mercedes Benz E Class sedans and wagons remain some of the most expensive midsize luxury cars on the market. That said, these are also some of the most capable, most luxurious and safest cars on the road. The 2011 2011 E-Class’s closest competitors include the Acura 3.5 RL, the Cadillac Seville, and the Volvo S80. Upon introduction, the E320 Sedan is equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, V6, 221-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The E55 AMG is equipped with a standard 5.5-liter, V8, 469-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

The 2011 E320 Sedan, and The 2011 E55 AMG are carryovers from 2003. 2011 Mercedes Benz E Class has long been a staple of Mercedes’ lineup. Although the current car traces its lineage back to 1953 when the Pontoon model was introduced, the term “E-Class” essentially debuted along with the new-for-1986 300E.

A number of high-tech options are offered on The 2011 Mercedes Benz E Class, such as the Keyless Go system, which allows the car to be started without a conventional key; self-adjusting Drive Dynamic seats; Distronic adaptive cruise control system; and a DVD-based navigation system. Selecting the sport package on any model gets you upgraded wheels and tires, bi-xenon headlights and bird’s eye maple interior trim. Exterior styling isn’t dramatically different; the headlamps, though, are sleeker and blend into the body more elegantly than in the past. The roofline has more of an arch, and the rear taillamps. The big, oval headlights took some getting used to, but evidently, luxury car buyers quickly warmed up to The new 2011 2011 Mercedes Benz E class, as it was the top-selling car for the company. Under the new skin, there’s a host of engineering refinements, such as a driver-adjustable AIRmatic suspension, which offers three settings that range from soft to firm. Also new is an electronic braking system that promises more precise individual wheel braking, which in turn helps the stability control system perform its duties with greater efficiency. If you have plenty of money and you’re shopping for a luxury sedan, your local Mercedes-Benz dealership would be a good place to start. The V6 is a confident, refined unit with ample power for most any situation. Money no object, the smooth and silent 5.0-liter V8 would be our choice as it’s a delight on wide open stretches of highway. All E-Class cars demonstrate exemplary road manners with a comfortable, controlled ride. Although this Benz doesn’t have quite the athletic feel of BMW’s 5 Series line, those who like to take the back roads will not be disappointed by the car’s grip and response around turns. Over all, 2011 Mercedes Benz E class car gives off a sportier image than the sedate outgoing model without losing its elegant demeanor.
