Chrysler may rescue Fiat’s profit targets

The CEO of Fiat and Chrysler, Sergio Marchionne is more than likely happy that his Fiat company bought more stakes into Chrysler, because it would seem that Chrysler is getting ready to rescue Fiat. Chrysler has made a Cinderella comeback in the last two years, posting a first quarter profit of around $116 million, while Fiat posted a meager 37 million euros during its first quarter profit. What does this mean? It means that Chrysler will more than likely be bailing Fiat out from having to go into the losing end of the profit spectrum, and this is something that most people never though that Chrysler would be able to do, not especially after coming so close to losing everything itself just two years ago.

However, it would seem that Marchionne knew what he was doing the entire time that he was taking over Chrysler. He made the cars something that people were going to want, used great advertising and people started to get behind the automobiles once again. Many people are amazed at what he has done thus far with the automaker, and there is more to come that everyone is sure of. However, how far he can take it is still something that people are debating. But it looks like Marhcionne has the know how and the expertise to turn Chrysler around and perhaps make it one of the big players in the auto market, or at least that is the hope of Chrysler and Fiat.

Chrysler has come a long way from the days when Fiat pulled them from the brink of losing it all. And it seems that Chrysler is going to repay the favor in kind to keep Fiat from reporting loses during this year. Of course, the financial experts are stating that Chrysler is going to be able to do this since they seem to be on their way to having a banner year.
