GM President Makes Comments about Leaf

The Chevrolet Volt and the Nissan Leaf are two of the cars that are rivals in the industry. However, many people do not see why given that there is totally different technology being used in these cars, making them hard to compare. But, it doesn't seem to matter since both of the cars are being steadily becoming rivals. However, this heated rivalry is not being helped by the new President of North America for General Motors, Mark Reuss who has stated that the Volt is really a long distance car that you could get away with having only this car as your main transportation. On the other hand, he points out, with the Leaf you bad better live close to where you want to go since this car is not made to go long distances.

Reuss even went as far to say that the drivers for the Leaf are completely different from the Volt. Which one could take as a huge insult. But probably the biggest insult was when he stated that he would not give the Leaf to his kids because they may get out somewhere and not be able to charge it and then they would be stuck. Of course, for many people this is an argument that they are going to listen to. So was Reuss wrong in making these comments?

Most people are stating that the comments Reuss made were not slenderizing anyone or anything, these were his personal opinions about the differences between the Volt and the Leaf. However, he may be a bit more biased towards the Volt, but still, he has made some good points about the differences between the two vehicles. Should he be reprimanded for his behavior? Most certainly not, he was being honest, something that is hard to find nowadays in the world, especially in the business market. For those that are offended, there is an easy fix, simply do not listen to what he has to say.
