Review of 2011 Cadillac CTS
Cadillac has always been known for producing some of the finest luxury sedans and SUV's that the world has ever seen. Those that are in the United States that are wanting some vehicle that is manufactured by the domestic automakers are going to find nothing is better than the Cadillac offerings. This is very pertinent to the new 2011 Cadillac CTS. Those that get behind the wheel of these CTS are going to love the performance and handling of the car. Though it may not have racing performance, it is not meant to. It is the handling that is getting so many people excited about the CTS. Even though the car is a bit heavier than other luxury models out there, when driving this you do not even notice that you are driving a heavy car. It sticks to the road and offers a ride that is so comfortable that you may feel as if you are riding on a cloud. Which is a trademark of any Cadillac automobile.
In terms of style, most would agree that when it comes to the luxury sedan market, there is nothing better than the Cadillac CTS. There is tons of chrome and a boxy feel to the car that is giving it a more sporty look than what most people are used to having. However, the most dominant feature about the car is the rear of the car. With the slanted brake lights that are typical of Cadillac offerings, most people cannot help, but to drool. The interior style is just as perfected as the exterior. There is lots of room which means a more comfortable ride for those that are in the car, as well as having all the trimmings to make this qualify as a luxury vehicle.
Safety is always something that people are wanting to take into consideration when they are looking for a new vehicle. And the CTS is not going to disappoint those that are considering this car. This is a top pick by the Highway Safety association, which is not something that they give out to anyone. The car performed rather well when involved in crash testing, with frontal, side impact and roof strength. The standard equipment that people are going to find on this vehicle include traction and stability control, six air bags for added protection, adaptive lighting and parking sensors as well on some models for those that choose the car.
However, with the rising prices of gas, most people are looking at the fuel economy of a car in order to seriously consider this. This is where the CTS is kind of disappointing. The average for all the models is around twenty six miles per gallon on the highway and around sixteen miles per gallon in the city. Which is not impressive by any means. However, for the luxury of the car, most people are willing to sacrifice this one aspect in the name of style and comfort. Overall, the CTS is a solid performer and is sure to sweep some people off of their feet and be a great seller for the GM family.
