New Study Finds Toyota and Lincoln the Best

There has been a new study that has been conducted by JD Power and associates that is giving off some surprising statistics that are mind boggling to many consumers. However, the findings could be the one thing that influences your next vehicle purchase. This was a three year long study that was started to be conducted in 2008. The main things that the study was looking at was problems that these vehicles had in relation to if they were a good buy or not. The results are a bit surprising, however, people should keep in mind that these were cars from three years ago, thus the newer ones may not be as safe or could even be safer.

The Lincoln brand is considered one of the safest brands that the person could be buying. According to the research they find that for every 100 vehicles, there was only 101 problems. The second place in the luxury division went to Lexus which had 109 problems per 100 vehicles. The top Lincoln vehicles were the Navigator and the MKZ. However, that is not all that Ford won, the Mustang and the Fusion also won their goals, meaning that the Ford Company walked away with four awards.

Toyota walked away with seven awards for their 4Runner, Prius, Tacoma, Tundra, Sienna, Scion xB and Lexus RX. There were three models that were given the most improved award and this included the Dodge Nitro, Mitsubishi Gallant and Suzuki SX4. So how can people use these study results to figure out just what kind of vehicle that they want for the future?

They can see that the Lincoln brand is the luxury brand to buy if they are thinking down that avenue, however, Toyota has proven that they are able to provide what people are needing with their offerings as well. Overall, this study is just giving a good idea of what to look at when you are shopping.
