Mazda New Marketing Slogan

Mazda is set to debut a new slogan for their brand in which aired yesterday on many television programs. The companies old slogan of 'Zoom Zoom' is still present since it has been the slogan that most people associate with the car. However, it is not as prominent as it was before. The new slogan states that the vehicle is not worth driving that they are not work building. Followed with the statement, 'We build Mazda's." The company hopes that this is one way in which they are going to redefine the image of the maker producing cars that are just plain ole' fun to drive.

 

In a statement made by the company they stated that they are reaffirming the idea that they just don't build cars for anyone, they build these cars for those that care about what they drive. The question is does this marketing slogan come off a bit stronger? There are schools of thought that are leading towards both sides. The company could be putting their brand on a pedestal that is just too high for everyday consumers to reach and then they are not going to get their business. However, on the flip side they are stating that for those wanting to drive the best, they should look towards Mazda. 

 

There are those that are stating that the slogan is awfully familiar to the new Chrysler slogan in which they are declaring just who they are and what they are offering consumers. This is debatable, though the idea of stating what you are and what you have to offer consumer is not a revolutionary idea, this is marketing at its truest form. 

 

One thing is for certain those that enjoy seeing what the manufactures churn out based on their commercials, the Mazda campaign is one of those that people are going to remember as they did define the fun in their cars and shown people what they could expect.
