Toyota and Nissan increase incentives

Toyota and Nissan have both announced that they will be increasing their production at the North American factories in order to meet the demand that is needed throughout the world. This came as a big surprise to many who had thought the two automakers would not be pushing production until they were completely recovered from the earthquake and tsunami that they experienced in March. However, it would seem that they are ready to get back into the competition.

Toyota announced earlier that they would be offering some major incentives and cash rewards towards consumers who buy new Toyota's, and Nissan seems to following their idea offering much of the same incentives. Sales have been weaker for both manufacturers since the disaster that struck Japan, however, they are doing their best to make sure that they are not going to suffer for very long if they are able to make the Memorial Day weekend sales something that are going to raise sales. And with all the incentives that they are offering, it is sure to happen for both auto makers.

However, the incentives that are going to be offered are going to vary from region to region. There are going to be some regions that are not going to get many if any incentives to offer at all, such as the Midwest. The reason that they are picking and choosing which areas are going to get the incentives are unknown. However, it could be something to do with the way that the brands are selling there without the incentives.

One thing is for sure, for those that are looking to buy or lease a new Toyota or Nissan they may want to wait until the Memorial Day weekend in order to make sure that they are getting the best deal possible. It could pay off with them saving hundreds of dollars in the long run for waiting.
