Chevrolet to Release New Small Sedan

Chevrolet has released the new 2011 Chevrolet Cruze in Canada this week with hopes that it takes off and bumps the corporate giant ahead of competitors.

The Cruze will be competing with the new 2012 Ford Focus, meaning that the Cruze has its competition cut out for it. The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze offers a competitive price at around $16,000 or $23,000, depending on any additional features that you add. This amount is comparable to the Ford Focus, however many are wondering if it will be enough to take over the market.


In addition, to the price, consumers are going to love the fuel economy of this sedan. While testing the model in labs, they have discovered that it gets as high as 40 miles per gallon. It is believed that the Cruze will mean the discontinuance of the Chevrolet Cobalt, which did not receive as great of a welcoming as had been hoped.

The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze has already been released in Asia and Europe and the consumers are thrilled with the car. They note the ease of parking and the incredible fuel economy, as well as the spacious interior and the looks of the exterior are reasons that they are all falling in love with the car.


The Cruze offer ten air bags inside the car which comes standard, making it one of the safest sedan cars on the road, while each is equipped with a 4 cylinder engine. It seats a total of five people, making it perfect for those long distance drives. Those who have had the privilege to see a Cruze in person often comment on how well Chevrolet upgraded the interior on this car when compared to past small cars.

So the question is when can US consumers get a glimpse of the Chevrolet Cruze? It is rumored that this product will be released later in the fall of 2010, however, with the model doing so well in other locations, it may sooner.
