Edge EcoBoost

Most people are highly anticipating what the automakers are going to be releasing later this year. However, most people are truly excited about what is be releasing by Ford. The Ford Edge EcoBoost is getting all of the attention it seems. That has many people wondering if the Edge is really going to be all that it promises it will be. After all a crossover that is going to have great performance and decent gas mileage is a bit hard to wrap your head around. However, what has most people interested is the EcoBoost technology that Ford has implemented.

The EcoBoost was introduced a year ago, and has been embraced by those that are die hard Ford fans with no turning back. However, the rest of the world is just now seeing what advances this technology is going to allow for people to get. The technology is going to reduce emissions without entirely affecting performance. 

The new Ford Edge is going to have a turbo charge 2.0 liter engine that is going to put out the maximum amount of horsepower and torque that is possible. At this time, the engineers are still tweaking the engine in order to give the best performance, and to make sure that it is one that all those that drive this are going to realize that they are in for a treat. Given that the performance is going to be around 240 horsepower, the Edge will be more like a performance crossover when people think of it instead of one of those crossover's that is environmentally friendly. This is where Ford has people hooked. 

Those that have gotten to test drive the vehicle claim that the ride and feel of the Edge is just like always, meaning that it is an instant winner. However, with the benefits of EcoBoost people are predicting that more and more consumers are going to be thinking about the Edge as a purchase.
