Toyota Plans for Future

In light of the recent events which has led Toyota to recall hundreds of thousands of vehicles, they have decided to reorganize their board. According to those that are involved with the company, Toyota is going to remove ten of its board members, putting the board down to only having seventeen members. The board consists of the chairman, president, six vice presidents, and fifteen senior executives. According to those who have leaked the story, the cut will affect a few of the vice presidents that are on the board.

Toyota has already let out the numbers that they expect to earn at the end of this year, and they are nothing close to what they use to bring in. Because of this, Toyota believes that something has to change, and they are going to start internally to find the solution. However, Toyota has gotten some good news recently when the NASA scientists and NHTSA found that the recall that was one of the biggest in the world was not due to any electrical malfunction, but was indeed due to the floor mats getting stuck around the gas and brake pedals.

Toyota plans to release a new plan for 2020 that will outline what their goals are going to include in the future in order to gain back the trust of the public and increase their sales at the same time.

What does the future for Toyota hold? At this point people can only speculate, however, most people believe that Toyota will come out of this since they have been such a dominant company in the past that reputation is not going to leave overnight even though it has been tarnished. The company should be able to bounce back as long as they keep putting customers first.
