Toyota Producing New Technology with Microsoft

Toyota has teamed up with Microsoft in order to produce equipment that is scheduled to be seen on new electric Toyota's that are set to come out next year. Basically the technology that they are introducing is going to help the driver do an array of things that they normally could not do with their cars.

For example, the first piece that they are working on is going to allow drivers to monitor the charging system and the batteries on the car as they are running in order to know just how much power that they have left to run the vehicle. Something that is going to come in very handy for those that drive these electric cars. The technology is going to be very similar to the technology that Ford and Microsoft came up with, the Ford's Sync program that allows users to interact without really having to be distracted in order to run the programs.

Toyota is hoping that this will attract many buyers to the electrical cars since they are going to offer more than just savings at the pump. Though one has to wonder if the including of this technology is going to raise the prices of these cars? After all, right now they are rather expensive and this is one reason why many people still have not gotten on board with the whole electrical concept.

Toyota has said that with the new technology that will be included on these cars that drivers are going to be able to control the heat and air, in addition to the benefits listed beforehand. It is really going to make the car user friendly in all the right ways. Chances are, this is going to be a big hit, especially since the Ford Sync has went over so well in the past with consumers. Which is something, Toyota is hoping for with their technology introduction.
