2011 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The Chevy Trailblazer has always been a good selling vehicle for the company. The reason is that the Trailblazer is a cross between the smaller Chevy Trackers and the Bigger Tahoe or Suburbans, making it the perfect size for many people who are looking for an SUV. And the 2011 Chevy Trailblazer is going to be yet another SUV that people are going to love. The vehicle is just rugged enough for the person to take over roading while being able to handle the bumps and twists in the road with grace since it is built to do so, while still giving a feel of luxury to it that is going to help those that are just wanting this vehicle to drive for everyday.

They are going to have the LS package, the LT package and the LTZ package. Plus, they also have the option of choosing the North Face Edition, which is basically the package that any outdoor enthusiast is going to want since it makes sure that the Trailblazer is ready to take on the outdoors with grace and integrity. 

 

For 2011 there are quite a few additions that have increase the power of the Trailblazer. The standard 4.2 liter, six cylinder engine that is a Vortec 4200 has around 275 horsepower, which is a slight increase for the 270 horsepower that older generations has. The North Face Edition has the option for people to choose the 5.3 liter, V8 Vortec 5300 engine for additional horsepower. 

 

 

The Trailblazer is equipped to seat five passengers, with extra room in the back for storing and taking gear, groceries or whatnot with the driver wherever they go. The base model for the Chevy Trailblazer is the LS model. The standard equipment in these are the power seating, power windows and locks, a CD/FM/AM radio and the dual comfort climate control for the air and heat. Basically, people who buy the base model are getting the standard set of characteristics for the Trailblazer.

 

The LT model adds a few more options to the standard equipment that is on the LS model. For example, cruise control, passenger seats that are powered in order to move, heated mirrors for the cold days and the addition of a compass. 

 

The LTZ model is the luxury SUV of the line up and is going to include things such as the driver seat memory that helps for those that drive the SUV and rearrange the seat and mirrors, radio controls on the steering wheel, and most importantly the On Star system is in these models. 

 

Those Trailblazers that are the North Face Edition are going to have many more rugged aspects to them, such as an under floor storage spot, floor and cargo mats that are heavy duty to handle anything and everything that the person puts into the vehicle. However, all the Trailblazers are meant to let consumers pick and choose extra options if they so please in order to make it something that they truly want to drive. 

 

Engine wise the standard is the V6, however, the other models do have the V8 option. No matter which engine that the person gets though, they are going to notice that the SUV does not shake or rattle with the power. And this is due to the company making sure that the engine is balanced as to not cause these disturbances. Transmission wise, all the models are going to have four speed automatics that are controlled electronically. Four wheel driver is also available in all models. 

 

Driving wise, the 2011 Trailblazer still drives like a luxury vehicle, despite its size, which is one reason why many people adore these vehicles. The safety of these vehicles are top notch as they all include anti-lock brakes, dual stage front air bags and so forth. Plus, the On Star system is one of the biggest safety precautions that are put into place.
