Chrysler Future Looking Optimistic

With the success that General Motors is recently having with their IPO sale, as well as their new lines of cars, many people are wondering if Chrysler could follow in its competitors footsteps and make a huge comeback. As the public does not hold such a high opinion of Chrysler since it was their tax money that bailed the company out when so many other automakers were failing. GM has made the progress of paying back much of the money that they owe the government, whereas Chrysler has not even begun the process.

However, Chrysler is showing some progress in making itself one of the main US automakers once again. Recently, they have been reporting less losses and more profits, which many are contributing to the new CEO that is in charge of Fiat and Chrysler both. Since the IPO for GM has done so well, the company is now optimistic in their chances of having a successful IPO as well. However, they still have to get back in with the good graces of the public. And the CEO has been documented as saying that Chrysler has a bad reputation in promising amazing vehicles, and then not delivering on these promises.

To combat this, the new vehicles that Chrysler will be offering will be based on Fiat technology. For example, the new Sebring will be built on a mid size platform that was designed in Italy. However, these new cars are not expected to hit the market until some time later next year. Which leaves many to wonder what the future of Chrysler will hold. But, with the new CEO taking over and the new ideas that are being thought of, most people expect that Chrysler will make the comeback that is necessary in order to be considered one of the dominant automakers in the US. However, only time will tell if these thoughts are going to be the truth or not.
